There is a variety of software available for student use, some
of which is course related, as well as a variety of general
applications such as MS Office.
All software in the Commerce Student Computer Laboratories
are covered by copyright laws and cannot be legally re-produced
(copied). Any users violating copyright regulations may be personally
liable for prosecution under the copyright act.
The Commerce Student Laboratories use a Networking program
called the Commerce Faculty Application Launcher. The launcher is a
launch pad for opening network software applications and utilities.
After logging in you are presented with the main application
launcher screen as shown below.
The applications, which are within the folder are then displayed
on the right hand panel of the application launcher window
Double click onto the appropriate icon to execute the application
 For
example if you wanted a Microsoft Office application click then select the
"Microsoft Office 2003" folder in the left hand pane of the window
Then the objects of that folder are shown in the right hand
side of the window.
Now double click on the icon "Microsoft Office Word 2003" to
start Microsoft Word.
